For Mother’s Day 2022, Erin wanted the gift of an entry into the Elrod’s Crique the 25 mile out and back bike ride. They have other distances including a 50, 100, and 150 mile course. This ride was slow and steady with another couple and their son, we enjoyed the sights and sounds along the course. We were rewarded with beers at Lady Bird Brewing and a food truck sandwich.
This was my first time at Lady Bird Brewing and it did not disappoint. I was excited to support the owners and get to Winfield during their limited hours. Since this ride, they have expanded their hours, added beer collaborations with other local breweries, and have grown their offerings. Unfortunately in 2023 I will be unable to ride this ride but I do hope to make it down, ride the route, and day trip with friends to check out Lady Bird Again.

On a side note, their “Winfield Pale Ale” can now be purchased in cans around the Wichita, KS area.
